We have loved having you out for Happy Hour Thursday all Summer long at the Trentadue Winery. Every year from May to August we love to pull out all the stops and bring wine club members and our local community together for a weekly event full of fun, food and great wine. Between the local bands, special wine releases, and lounging on the lawn with our favorite Sonoma food vendors, it’s been another Summer to remember with you!

We’re going to miss you, but don’t let the seasonal blues get you down! We put together our top tips for hosting your own Happy Hour Thursday!

  1. Choosing your cheeses

Is there anything better than wine and cheese? It’s a match made in heaven, and the right cheese pairing can make the features of a particular wine really sing. Try a few of our favorite combinations:

  1. Set the mood with a playlist.

It’s happy hour, and nothing says “happy” like some great tunes. Trentadue Happy Hour Thursdays always feature live local music. Keep the magic alive in offseason at your Thursday get-together with a great playlist. We’re loving this Dinner Party playlist featured on Spotify.

  1. Try a blind tasting to test your skills

Have all of your guests bring a bottle wrapped in a brown paper bag. Let everyone test their “wino” skills and fill out a sheet with their guesses. Compare notes when the bottles are revealed at the end of the night. You might just find you change your mind about the varietals you think you know.

  1. Never run out of wine with regular wine club shipments!

It’s not Happy Hour without wine! Not only do we keep you stocked with the latest releases, but wine club members also receive savings on wine purchases, special members-only event invites, and complimentary tastings at the Estate. Choose from 4 club memberships with variety that everyone can find something to enjoy. For more information, make sure you visit our wine club page.

We hope you enjoy recreating your own Happy Hour Thursday and check back in with us in early 2019 to see the upcoming lineup for next summer’s events!
