2024 Nonni’s Favorite Rosato di Sangiovese

Our 2024 Rosato is a 100% “saignee” from both 601 and 602 Sangiovese blocks. The juice was fermented cold and slow for 21 days in stainless steel tank. Post fermentation, portion of the wine was aged briefly in neutral oak barrels and small stainless barrels. The flavor profile of our Rosato di Sangiovese is amazing –guava, peach, apricot and watermelon followed by touch of pomegranate and a hint of rose petals. The mouth feel is slightly sweeter than the previous vintages (the yeast decided to stop fermenting), rich and viscous with bright acidity, juicy and refreshing. Enjoy this wine well chilled with or without food, it will be equally satisfying.
